Space Network – A European/ international network of predominantly professional HEI’s including universities & VET schools servicing researchers, teachers and students on levels 5, 6 and 7, in the field of:

  • Business
  • Languages
  • Entrepreneurship
  • Hospitality
  • Tourism

The network was founded in Lille, France in 1989, and quickly grew to include a membership of some 60 institutions and universities from over 30 countries from all over Europe – as well as members from America and Africa . The network changed over the years from only languages and culture to include expert groups on business, communication, languages and cultural competence, hospitality and tourism management, entrepreneurship and educational research. Space Network offer on-line courses, ICT platforms and development projects plus a Journal of Advances in Higher Education – ” learning by sharing ” in a friendly international atmosphere.

It provides:

The European Association for Practitioner Research on Improving Learning (EAPRIL) promotes practice-based research on learning issues in the context of initial, formal, lifelong and organisational learning. EAPRIL is unique in bringing together those interested in the crossroads between research and practice but also between education and professional learning.

EAPRIL brings together two unique sub networks that focus on learning in two specific contexts:

  • Education and Learning in Schools
  • Corporate Learning

Both parallel streams have their own activities but share the same goalTheir annual Conference offers activities allowing to interconnect and exchange research and experience with fellow researchers and practitioners across this variety of fields.
